When the Jews planned to rebuild the wall of Jrusalem they faced opposition form Sanballat. According to Neh 4:1, Sanballat was furious and mocked the Jews.
You see on the way to fulfilling your God-given purpose there will be opposition. Jesus said that there will be challenges and that people will offend you - Jn 16:33 & Mt 18:7. You must have the right perspective concerning these trials. According to Jam 1:2-4 though these tests and trials will test your faith, in the process of going through them you will build patience and in the end will lack nothing.
The enemy will try everything in his power to derail you on the path to fulfilling your destiny. But thank God that the Greater One lives on your inside. There is nothing that you cannot overcome. Your victory and success has already been determined - 1 Jn 5:4. So stay focused and cheerful in the face of trials because you already know the outcome. You have already won!

Celebrate Your Assignment
In Gal 2:8, Apostle Paul was saying that the same God who worked with Peter in his assignment also worked with Paul to accomplish his assignment. Friend every God-given assignment is important to God. God is ready, willing and able to work with you to accomplish your assignment.
However you must refuse to be intimidated by the assignment of others. Apostle Paul lived at a time when it was not popular to minister to non-Jews. He could have felt that his assignment was inferior to the assignepment of others. Rather he magnified his office.
Settle it in your mind today. Your assignment is important to God and to your generation. If this was not true, you would not have been created. So live your life like you have an important mission. Don't be distracted or discouraged by the views or comments of others. As you celebrate and prioritize your assignment, others will eventually celebrate your results.

You are victorious!
Jn 16:33.
Jesus died at the cross and resurrected. He conquered the forces of the enemy and thus was victorious. He secured this victory for all those who will believe in His name and receive Him as Lord and savior - 1 Jn 5:4-5, Rom 8:37, 1 Jn 4:4.
Jesus was speaking to His disciples in Jn 16:33. He was reassuring them. He said to them that although there would be trials, tribulations, persecutions, challenges, etc. they did not need to be worried or concerned. Rather they should be at peace; confident in the victory that Jesus would obtain at the cross.
Jesus was not just referring to His disciples but to you and I, who are in a right relationship with Him. So the victory that you desire over the circumstances or challenges that you face has already been secured by Christ for you. Your ability to walk in this victory will be determined by how much revelation of this victory you have.
As you face challenges in this new year, be rest assured that you have already overcome. Your faith in God's Word concerning your victory is born out of revelation of God's Word. Seek out what God's Word says about your victory by searching though scriptures.
As you meditate on those scriptures you will come to a point that you receive revelation. Meditate on those scriptures until you have an image of victory in those challenging situations. Then celebrate victory irrespective of the natural circumstances - 2 Cor 4:16-17.
You celebrate because you have received your victory in the spiritual realm, where everything is created. Once you receive it in the spiritual realm, it will eventually manifest in the natural - Heb 11:1. So be of good cheer, Jesus has secured your victory - Jn 16:33.

Take Your Rightful Place in Dominion
Mt 21:19.
In the beginning God created man to have dominion over the earth and all that is in it - Gen 1:28. God placed man in charge of this planet. Man gave up this right to dominion to the enemy when Adam committed the first sin. Thank God that Christ came up to restore us back to a right standing with God - Gal 3:13. We now have that right to dominion again.
Christ illustrated this to His disciples in Mt 21:19. We have the ability to shape our world through our words. So start creating your world consistent with the Word of God.
As we celebrate the birth of our Savior today, let's remember that He came not just for us to accept Him but also for us to live a victorious life on earth.
