Abundant Love

Jesus came so that we can have the life of God in an abundant measure - John 10:10. Life as referred to in John 10:10 is from the Greek word 'Zoe' which means the God-kind of life. According to 1 John 4:8, God is love. You can see therefore see that to have the life of God is to have a life of love, you are called to live a life overflowing with love.

What does it mean to live a life overflowing with love? A life overflowing with love is a life that expresses the God-kind of love by default in every situation. It is a life whose love tank is so full that it never runs dry rather it impacts and touches everyone and every situation.

How do you get to a point where you respond to everyone and every situation in love? You see the development of your love walk is a process. You already have the capacity to love like God - Rom 5:5. However you must consciously spend time in God's word and presence to cultivate your capacity to love. Then you must practice walking in love. Then just as a child learns to walk you will grow in your love walk.

Friend as a child of God you are called to a life of love - Rom 13:8. You are called to a life driven by the love of God - 2 Co 5:14. In other words the love of God drives you in very situation and relationship. Have an exceptional day!

With the God-kind of love in expression you can't fail

Every child of God has the capacity to love - Rom 5:5. God knows the capacity of love to transform any situation and so He gave us the ability to love. It was God's love that caused Him to send His only Son at the time - John 3:16. Love was at the root of what transformed a situation that seemed impossible in the natural - Gen 3:16. As a result of Jesus' sacrifice billions of people today can declare that they are children of God.

What situation are you facing currently that seems impossible? God has already given you a blueprint for dealing with the situation. What would love do in that situation? God expects you to respond in love. Afterall scripture lets us know that love never fails - 1 Cor 13:8. If you allow the Holy Spirit to lead you through love you will not fail in that situation. Rather that situation will be supernaturally turned around.

Friend resist the temptation to respond naturally by the help of the Holy Spirit. Allow the supernatural love of God to flow freely from you. With the God-kind of love on your side you can't fail.

There's no need to struggle

When Jesus left, He sent the Holy Spirit to abide in us. By doing so He also anointed us through the Holy Spirit to function effectively in life - 1 Jn 2:20. WIthout the anointing of God you cannot accomplish all that God has called you to do. You will be ineffective because what God intends for you to do in life will take more than your abilities to complete.

The anointing to function is the divine enablement endowed on a believer to function beyond his natural abilities. As a believer you have access to the anointing. It has already been made available for you through the Holy Spirit. You must acknowledge it and consciously walk in it. You do this by spendimg time in the Word of God, prayer and fasting. Then you stay sensitive to the promptings of the Holy Spirit; allow Him to lead you and follow His instructions.

The anointing to function is available for every area of your life - family, ministry, career, business, etc - 1 Jn 2:27. The anointing package includes wisdom, strength, favor, etc. There's no need for you to struggle any longer. You have the anointing to function.

You have already won

There is no doubt about the victory that Jesus won over the enemy. Col 2:15 says that Jesus disarmed the enemy and made a public spectacle of the enemy's camp; He triumphed over the enemy. As a result of this victory the enemy no longer has any hold over a child of God. Jesus' victory is your victory.
Friend, the enemy has been dethroned. He has lost the battle. There's no need to live a defeated life any longer. Rise up and take your rightful place as a victor. No matter what you may be going through now remember that you are already and overcomer. Stand on God's Word and enforce your covenant rights today.

It's Time for Your Promotion

True promotion comes from God - Psa 75:6. God has the ability to cause you to be promoted supernaturally. The key to walking in this promotion is your acknowledgement of God's power and ability, and your submission to God. Your submission to God means that you are fully submitted to His will.

It takes a man clothed in humility to be fully submitted to God. Friend, I am not referring to a false humility where you consider yourself as worthless but rather a humility based on faith in God's ability to deliver you from any situation and to promote you.

According to 1 Pe 5:6, if you are truly submitted to God, then He will cause you to enjoy success and be promoted. Make a decision today to yield your will to God's will. Your promotion is already secured, and it's manifestation is around the corner.

You will make a difference at your place of work

When Jesus Christ defeated the enemy, He secured your victory over sin, sickness and poverty. Anyone who identifies with Jesus' victory becomes a partaker of this victory, and is restored unto the blessing - Gal 3:13-14. The shedding of Jesus' blood at Calvary was a covenant act. This bloodshed represented the new covenant between God and anyone who accepts Jesus as Lord and Savior. So your victory is secured by covenant. A covenant unlike a contract cannot be broken without death. Since God is not planning to die, He remains committed to the covenant.

There was an old cevenant prior to the new covenant. Jacob was a partaker of this covenant. it is recorded that Jacob's boss recognized that his business fluorished becuase Jacob was a partaker of the old covenant - Gen 30:27. As powerful as the old covenant was it doesn't compare to the new covenant. The new covenant is superior to the old covenant because it was secured by the blood of Jesus and not the blood of animals. If Jacob's presence was enough to influence the success of his master's business, how much more is your presence able to influence the success of your employer's business.

God has placed you at that place of work for such a time as this. You are called to be a light unto this generation - Mt 5:14-16. Light here refers to someone who provides clarity, direction, and influence. This is your heritage. So as you go to your place of work remember that you are called to make a difference. Just as Jacob made a difference, you are called to make even more of a difference at your place of work. Arise and shine, it is your time - Isa 60:1.

Wisdom For Success in the Workplace

When Jesus lived on the earth, he walked in outstanding results. In fact He was known for His results. The Bible says that His fame spread abroad and that news of Him travelled. He was simply a marvel in His generation. The world had not seen anyone like Him. Yet when Jesus left He made an interesting pronouncement. In Jn 14:12 Jesus said "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father".
You see it is God's desire that we walk in outstanding results wherever we are located including where we work. In Jn 14:12, works is from the Greek word ergon which speaks of works, deeds, acts but also refers to business, employment, that which any one is occupied, and any thing accomplished by hand, art or industry. It refers to miracles, signs, wonders and healings.
It is clear that Jesus was not just referring to greater works at church meetings, afterall, He went about doing good in the midst of the people and was not confined to a building. Some of the many miracles that occurred in Jesus' ministry included multiplying food and turning water into wine. He solved material problems supernaturally. This same power is available for you and I in our place of work.
One of the keys to Jesus' outstanding results was wisdom. He spent so much time in the presence of God that He was able to download specific instructions from God for every situation that He faced (Jam 5:19-20). The manifestation of the wisdom of God in His life was evident to others (Luk 2:52). It is clear that the wisdom of God will cause you to produce solutions that others have not been able to produce; it will cause you to perform at a higher level. This will draw the attention of others.
Another man who walked in divine wisdom was Joseph. Joseph brought the influence of God to bear upon the assignments that Potiphar gave him. As a result he produced superior results (Gen 39:1-4) and began running Potiphar's house. In prison Joseph observed what was going on, and then he was inspired by God to offer solutions. Eventually he began running the prison (Gen 39:20-23). By the wisdom of God Joseph knew to package himself for his defining moment. By divine wisdom he shaved before He showed up in the presence of Pharaoh (Gen 41:14). By divine wisdom Joseph was promoted. When he became Prime Minister he succeeded by divine wisdom.
The Holy Spirit is the source of divine wisdom. According to Dan 5:13-14 the king recognized Daniel as a man of wisdom. He went on to acknowledge that the Spirit of God was in Daniel. In Isa 11:2, the Holy Spirit is described as the spirit of wisdom. Furthermore according to Job 32:8, the Holy Spirit provides divine inspiration. The Holy Sirit will clarify things for you in your place of work or business. I declare that issues that others find confusing will be clear to you.
So how do you position yourself to walk in divine wisdom?
1. Release your faith for wisdom. Ask for wisdom (Mt 7:7-8).
Build your faith for it based on the Word of God. Solomon knew that wisdom is the most important thing (Pro 4:7). He asked for wisdom when God gave him a blank check (2 Ch 1:7-12). As a result he became a reference point in his generation.
2. Place your trust in God.
You must trust absolutely in the wisdom of God and not rely on your natural, sensual wisdom (Pro 3:5-6). Natural wisdom is limited but divine wisdom has no limits (Pro 14:12).
3. Inform yourself.
Daniel was committed to developing and informing himself. He read and studied. (Dan 9:2). As a result of his personal development he was ready to assume the roles that God caused him to be promoted into. You see if you have not developed yourself and your gifts then you will be unable to fully capitalize on the wisdom of God.
In 2013 make a commitment to do whatever it takes to access the wisdom of God. The wisdom of God will be the difference maker in your career and/or your business. As you walk in divine wisdom, you will enjoy outstanding results.

Fight to Succeed

In Php 3:14, Apostle Paul said that he pressed towards his goal, his assignment. He pressed so that he could attain the upward calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Friend it is going to take maximum effort on your part to accomplish all that God has called you to do. You will have to fight in order to succeed. You will have to resist diverse temptations and distractions, and remain focused on the ultimate goal.

It is time to take a stand concerning your God-given purpose. Make a decision today that you will not be distracted off course and you will be disciplined. As you press in the grace of God will multiply your efforts. Then you will enjoy good success and attain your higher calling.

You are already victorious

When the Jews planned to rebuild the wall of Jrusalem they faced opposition form Sanballat. According to Neh 4:1, Sanballat was furious and mocked the Jews.

You see on the way to fulfilling your God-given purpose there will be opposition. Jesus said that there will be challenges and that people will offend you - Jn 16:33 & Mt 18:7. You must have the right perspective concerning these trials. According to Jam 1:2-4 though these tests and trials will test your faith, in the process of going through them you will build patience and in the end will lack nothing.

The enemy will try everything in his power to derail you on the path to fulfilling your destiny. But thank God that the Greater One lives on your inside. There is nothing that you cannot overcome. Your victory and success has already been determined - 1 Jn 5:4. So stay focused and cheerful in the face of trials because you already know the outcome. You have already won!

It is God's Plan that You Succeed

God always has you on His mind. In Psa 8:4, the Psalmist exclaims that God is mindful of man. You see man is God's choicest creation. Man is the only one of God's creation that was created in the image and likeness of God - Gen 1:26. This is why man has such a special place in God's heart.

In Jer 29:11, God was reassuring His people that He only had good thoughts towards them, and not evil thoughts. He told them that His plans for them was to bring them to a place of peace and prosperity, where everything concerning was in great shape; nothing missing or broken. God reassured them because at that time His people were having challenges believing in a good outcome based on what they were going through.

You see there will be times when your present circumstances do not bear any resemblance to your promises from God. At those times you must stand in faith based on the Word of God. And remember that it is God's plan that you succeed in what He has called you to do. So be cheerful and courageous - Jn 16:33 & Jos 1:9 - because God is on your side.

Hold onto Your Dream

Joseph was seventeen years old when he had a dream that He will one day be a ruler. This dream did not come into manifestation until he was thirty years old - Gen 41:46. By that time thirteen years had passed.

In that thirteen year interval, Joseph was thrown into a pit and sold into slavery by his brothers. He ran his slave masters household but was eventually imprisoned for a crime that he did not commit. In prison he was given responsibilities for leading the prison. In the same prison he met the chief baker and the chief butler. He helped both of them by interpreting their dreams.

However the chief butler forgot about Joseph. The chief butler finally remembered Joseph when no one else in the kingdom could interpret Pharaoh's dream. Joseph was then invited into the presence of Pharaoh. He interpreted Pharaoh's dream and was elevated supernaturally to be Prime Minister.

Through all those years from the pit to slavery and to the prison, in the natural, it did not seem like Joseph's dream was coming to pass. However God was working things out such that Joseph was being positioned for supernatural promotion. At every stage of his life, Joseph was being prepared to become Prime Minister.

He was developing the character, tenacity, wisdom and people skills that he will need to succeed as Prime Minister. Even though it did not look like it, every step he took brought him closer to fulfilling his God-given dream. His focus remained on God and He believed that God would do what He said He would do.

Whatever God has promised you, He will do. God is not man that He will lie - Num 23:19. He is faithful to do what He said He would do - Isa 55:11 and 1 Th 5:24. Your life may not look like your dream right now. But be encouraged and stay steadfast. Prioritize your relationship with God and believe in His word. You are merely going through a phase on the way to your manifestation. What God said about you will truly come to pass.

Choose Friends Who Keep You Sharp

In Pro 27:17, the influence that a man has over his friend is likened to the process of sharpening a knife edge. You see in order to sharpen a knife edge, a sharpening tool made of the same material is used. This tool is then used to rub against the knife edge repeatedly until the edge is sharpened. Over the useful life of that knife this process may be repeated several times in order for the knife to retain its sharpness.

Similar to the process of knife sharpening, the attitude, beliefs, behaviors, etc. of your friend has an impact on your attitude, beliefs, behaviors, etc. A real friend is not a cheerleader. Rather a real friend will support you when needed and will challenge your actions when you veer off course. You must deliberately seek and remain committed to those friendships that enhance you and encourage you to fulfill your purpose. You must resist those friendships that cause you to veer off the path to fulfilling your purpose.

Your purpose is too important to put it at risk because of sentiments or attachments to the wrong kind of friend. Examine your friendships regularly to ensure that you are surrounded by God-ordained friends; friends who will encourage you on the path to fulfilling destiny and not cause you to stumble.

You are victorious!

Jn 16:33.

Jesus died at the cross and resurrected. He conquered the forces of the enemy and thus was victorious. He secured this victory for all those who will believe in His name and receive Him as Lord and savior - 1 Jn 5:4-5, Rom 8:37, 1 Jn 4:4.

Jesus was speaking to His disciples in Jn 16:33. He was reassuring them. He said to them that although there would be trials, tribulations, persecutions, challenges, etc. they did not need to be worried or concerned. Rather they should be at peace; confident in the victory that Jesus would obtain at the cross.

Jesus was not just referring to His disciples but to you and I, who are in a right relationship with Him. So the victory that you desire over the circumstances or challenges that you face has already been secured by Christ for you. Your ability to walk in this victory will be determined by how much revelation of this victory you have.

As you face challenges in this new year, be rest assured that you have already overcome. Your faith in God's Word concerning your victory is born out of revelation of God's Word. Seek out what God's Word says about your victory by searching though scriptures.

As you meditate on those scriptures you will come to a point that you receive revelation. Meditate on those scriptures until you have an image of victory in those challenging situations. Then celebrate victory irrespective of the natural circumstances - 2 Cor 4:16-17.

You celebrate because you have received your victory in the spiritual realm, where everything is created. Once you receive it in the spiritual realm, it will eventually manifest in the natural - Heb 11:1. So be of good cheer, Jesus has secured your victory - Jn 16:33.

It's time for your success!

3 Jn 1:2.

The prayer in 3 Jn 1:2 was for prosperity in all areas of life. You see it is God's will that we prosper in every area of life. God doesn't just want us to prosper in our spirits but not in our bodies or souls. In fact God's idea of prosperity goes beyond our spirits, souls and bodies.

The word prosper is loaded. It speaks of wholeness, and nothing missing, nothing broken. It encompasses every area of life. It is God's desire that we prosper in our families, careers, businesses, finances, etc.

When Jesus defeated the enemy, and rose up from the grave, He conquered sin, sickness and poverty - 2 Cor 5:21, 1 Pe 2:24 and 2 Cor 8:9. Jesus did all this for you and I; so that we could walk in victory and in the fullness of God's plan for our lives.

It is time for us to take our rightful place. Once you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you have access to the blessing - Gal 3:13; you are no longer subject to the curse. The blessing is what truly makes a man to prosper - Pro 10:22. The stage has already been set for you. Go forth and prosper in all things.

The Word and the Power

Isa 53:1.

The Word must be the final authority in your life. According to the book of the John, in the beginning the Word was present. In the book of Genesis this is evident; God created this world by the Word. Throughout the OT the prophets of God spoke about the Coming Messiah. Isaiah in Is 53:1 spoke about these prophecies challenging the people on believing the word that God sent through them accompanied by His power.

When God speaks it should be final in our lives. And when it is and we walk in His Word, His power which backs up that Word is evident.
