Wisdom and Patience

One of the characteristics of a wise man is patience. Such a person understands the value of taking the appropriate time to make a decision. He is never forced into making a decision because of circumstances. You see decisions made in a haste often result in mistakes. Those decisions are generally made based on fear of an unwanted outcome or missed opportunity. However a child of God ought to live by faith and therefore does not operate by fear - Isa 28:16.

In 1 Sam 30:6-8. David was faced with a significant challenge. His men were thinking about stoning him because they had lost their families and all their possessions. David responded by strengthening himself and inquiring from God in order to find out the next steps. He could have responded in a haste in the face of such hostility but he chose to be patient in order receive instruction from God.

Friend you will be faced with choices that will attempt to force you into a hasty decision. You must resist the temptation to decide before. Take the time you need in order to access the divine wisdom of God. As a result you will make better decisions.

Wisdom Leads to Success III

God desires that you live a glorious life; He always wants the best for you. This is why He stores up His wisdom and hides it away for your benefit - 1 Cor 2:7. He does this so that the enemy who seeks to steal, kill and destroy - John 10:10 - will not gain access to this wisdom. 

The wisdom of God can be accessed by a child of God. As a child of God the Holy Spirit dwells on your inside - 1 John 4:4. The Holy Spirit is a teacher and a revealer; He specializes in revealing the deep things of God to the children of God. 

Friend allow the Holy Spirit to reveal the wisdom of God to you. As you read the word of God be conscious of His presence. As you face situations be aware and listen for His promptings. Then follow His guidance and apply the wisdom of God. You will enjoy a 100% success rate.

Irresistible Wisdom

Jesus promised in Luk 21:15 that He will give you such wisdom that others will find irresistible and irrefutable. You see the wisdom of God is perfect and complete. When you are operating in this wisdom your results are undeniable. 

This was evident in the life of Stephen. When the twelve disciples were looking for people to serve in the ministry of helps the qualifications included being full of wisdom and the Holy Spirit - Acts 6:3. Stephen was one the people selected who met the criteria. Later on in Acts 6:10 this was demonstrated in Stephen's results. According to scripture in Acts 6:8-10, Stephen did great things and the people were unable to resist wisdom and the Spirit by which he spoke. 

Child of God, the wisdom of men is limited but the wisdom of God is limitless. When you operate in the wisdom of God, by the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, you will enjoy outstanding results that speak for themselves. This wisdom is meant for your supernatural breakthrough. Factor in and release your faith for the divine wisdom of God in all of your endeavors so that you can impact your world as God intended. 

A life of victory!

As a child of God in this age you are a partaker of the new covenant. This new covenant came into being as a result of the death and resurrection of Jesus. You were drafted into this covenant when you became born again. This new covenant is described as better than the old, previous covenant - Heb 8:6. As great as all the old testament men and women of God were they were operating in a covenant that is less than the new covenant.

One of the benefits of this new covenant which makes it better than the old covenant is the fact that you have God living in you, and not just God with or for you, as was the case in the old covenant. You see in the old dispensation God would come upon a man and enable this man to do what he was called to do. However in this dispensation God has sent the Holy Spirit to live on your inside 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. This gives you an edge.

Friend, you are empowered to do great things because the Greater One dwells on your inside - 1 John 4:4. There is no need to fear whatever the world throws at you because you have what it takes to live a life of victory - 1 John 5:4. In every situation you win. Thank God for the gift of the Holy Spirit!

Real love gives

God demonstrated His love for mankind. Even when mankind was estranged and disconnected from Him spiritually, He sent His only Son at the time to take mankind's place and die on behalf of the entire human race - Rom 5:8. Jesus did not just die on mankind's behalf but He assumed all the past, present and future sins of mankind. It was as though He had committed those sins even though He lived a life devoid of sin - 2 Cor 5:21.

God knew that in order to redeem man from the enemy it would take something beyond the ordinary - John 3:16. Right after man sinned in the garden of Eden, God set His plan for man's redemption into motion - Gen 3:15. Jesus was the most precious and most valuable thing that God could sacrifice. Jesus came to fulfill God's plan. The sacrifice of Jesus is the greatest gift ever.

You see your giving is a demonstration of your love. Giving costs you something. You cannot truly love a person and be unwilling to give out of your time, resources, money, etc. It is love that causes someone to give gifts to their spouse. It is love that causes parents to sacrifice their time for the development of their children. Friend commit yourself to a life of giving and sacrifice as you demonstrate the love of God to others. The Greatest Love II

The God-kind of love is not natural; rather it is supernatural. You cannot walk in this kind of love in your natural, human abilities. It will take the supernatural assistance of God for you to walk in the God-kind of love - Rom 5:5. It will also require you to subject your natural tendencies and the resultant reactions to God's way of loving.

What does this mean? You see there is a natural reaction to situations and to others. When someone crosses you or betrays your trust there is a reaction that is natural. Looking at it in just natural terms this person doesn't deserve to be loved. However as a child of God you are expected to rise above that natural response and to love that person in spite of them and their actions.

God demonstrated this kind of love towards you and I - John 3:16. Then He gave you the capacity to love like He loves - Rom 5:5. Now is the time for you to rise up and subject your body to love - 1 Cor 9:27. Resist the temptation to love naturally and arise in the love of God with the help of the Holy Spirit.

You are supernaturally equipped for your assignment

Rain is synonymous with fertilization, fructification and ripening. These are all stages that a seed goes through on the way to full maturity. Friend you are seed sent forth to your generation. You were sent here on an assignment. In order for your seed that seed to come to full maturity there is a need for the rain of God.

The Bible mentions the former rain and the latter rain - Joel 2:23. In Bible time, the former rain described the rain that fell in the Fall. This rain served to fructify the seed i.e. to make the seed fruitful and productive. The latter rain served to ripen the grain or the fruit.

That seed inside of you has been watered. However it will take the latter rain of God upon you for you to mature and become all that God has called you to be. Ask the Lord for rain - Zec 10:1. This rain refers to the rain of His Spirit. God wants the influence of HIs Holy Spirit upon your life to rise to the point that you are empowered to fulfill your destiny.

You are not alone. By the power and influence of the Holy Spirit you will be supernaturally equipped for your assignment.

You will make a difference at your place of work

When Jesus Christ defeated the enemy, He secured your victory over sin, sickness and poverty. Anyone who identifies with Jesus' victory becomes a partaker of this victory, and is restored unto the blessing - Gal 3:13-14. The shedding of Jesus' blood at Calvary was a covenant act. This bloodshed represented the new covenant between God and anyone who accepts Jesus as Lord and Savior. So your victory is secured by covenant. A covenant unlike a contract cannot be broken without death. Since God is not planning to die, He remains committed to the covenant.

There was an old cevenant prior to the new covenant. Jacob was a partaker of this covenant. it is recorded that Jacob's boss recognized that his business fluorished becuase Jacob was a partaker of the old covenant - Gen 30:27. As powerful as the old covenant was it doesn't compare to the new covenant. The new covenant is superior to the old covenant because it was secured by the blood of Jesus and not the blood of animals. If Jacob's presence was enough to influence the success of his master's business, how much more is your presence able to influence the success of your employer's business.

God has placed you at that place of work for such a time as this. You are called to be a light unto this generation - Mt 5:14-16. Light here refers to someone who provides clarity, direction, and influence. This is your heritage. So as you go to your place of work remember that you are called to make a difference. Just as Jacob made a difference, you are called to make even more of a difference at your place of work. Arise and shine, it is your time - Isa 60:1.

Your Status as a Solution Provider

According to Pro 18:16, your God-given gift when properly deployed will enable you to walk in favor, and great men will be drawn to you.

However in order to properly deploy your gifts, you need to invest in personal development. You must develop your gifts by educating yourself along the lines of your gifts. You must also exercise or use your gifts frequently. Thirdly, you must be in the right environment so that your gifts can develop in the right context.

Friend, each is us has been given gifts by God - Eph 4:7. These gifts were given to us in order to serve our generation. Our gifts are meant for us to solve our generation's issues. As you utilize these gifts appropriately, you will become a solution provider, and people will seek you.

Release the Creative Ability of God in You

Jesus came so that you and I can have the life of God abundantly - Jn 10:10. A translation says that so that we may have this life to an overflowing measure. This life is the God-kind of life. This life comes with what we need to accomplish the assignment that we have been given.

In the God-kind of life is the same creative ability that is responsible for the creation of this world. This was evident in Adam before he fell. In Gen 1:26-28 God created man in His own image, and breathed life into man. Then God gave Adam the responsibility to name all the animals. Adam was able to name the animlas by tapping into the creative ability that had been infused into him as a result of receiving the God-kind of life. When Adam sinned he got disconnected from God and his creative ability was severely limited.

Thank God that Jesus came to restore man back to right standing with God. When you and I became born again we received an infusion of the life of God in our spirits. Because of this we now have access to the creative ability of God. This ability is necessary to live out our purposes and finish the work we have been called to do. So as you go about living your purpose be conscious of the creative ability in you.

Stir up yourself in spiritual things. Be committed to reading the word, prayer and fasting, etc. As you do these you are making the creative ability and power of God available to deal with situations on a continuous basis.

Celebrate Your Uniqueness

We have all been given gifts. Our package of gifts is unique.

Your gifts point to your areas of strength. Learn to recognize your gifts and thus your strengths. Then focus on your strengths. Let working around and developing your strengths be a priority.

You must celebrate your uniqueness because in your uniqueness lies the capacity to fulfill your God-given purpose.

Nothing can stop you

Mk 11:23

Jesus said that if we would only believe and not doubt then when we speak to any mountain to move, it will move. We have the capacity for mountain moving faith. Any mountain that seeks to set itself against you and God's Word In your life will move in the face of unshakable faith based on the Word of God.

So speak to the mountains of problems now in faith, and watch them move out of the way. No obstacle can stop you if you are walking in faith.

A Life Full of Power

Luk 4:14.

God intends that all of His children will live by His power. The Bible says in Luk 4:14 that Jesus returned in the power of the spirit, and news of Him spread far and wide.

Jesus had just spent time consecrated in the presence of God. He was recharged and refired so much so that others around Him noticed the difference.

The power of God must be so evident in us that others can see it based on our manifestations. This is what it means to live supernaturally. However it takes consecration, prayer, fasting and spending time in God's Word to generate such power.

Revelation, the Path to Promotion

Eph 1:17.

It is time to stop being grounded by the wrong attitude to the Word, tradition, and mental assent (religion), and to be elevated by revelation.

Revelation of God's Word sets you free Jn 8:32. When you have revelation of God's Word in a particular area eg health, finances, victory, etc. you own it. You can no longer be held back in that area of your life.

In order to live a supernatural life with signs and wonders in evidence (outstanding results) you must walk in revelation.

Life of God

Jn 10:10.

Jesus said that He came to impart the life of God in us; not just in small measure but in an a unlimited measure. He wants us to be full of the life of God to the point of overflow.

We get a measure of this life at new birth. We must continue to cultivate this life by exposing ourselves to right materials, staying in the presence of God, etc. This life must overflow to the point that it is affecting everything around you.
