Adam relinquished his dominion and authority to the devil the moment he disobeyed God and ate of the forbidden fruit. From that point onwards sin and death reigned in the life of man. Every man and woman who has been and will be born born since then is born with the sin nature.
However all is not lost. Thanks to the sacrifice of Jesus sin no longer reigns in the life of the believer. When you became born again you received an abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness. As a result sin no longer has dominion over you - Rom 6:14. Rather you have the capacity to rule and reign in life! - Rom 5:17.
Is capacity to rule and reign extends to every area of your life - marriage, career, business, finances, etc. You must learn to walk in the consciousness of your rulership in every area of your life.
