Rom 8:6.
If you are God-inside minded and conscious of the life of God inside you then it will reflect is your words and actions. There will be no room for carnality.
When you are carnally minded then your results will tend to death, corruption and in the direction of the curse. This is why many lives appear to be stagnant devoid of progress.
God intended that you and I live in victory every day of our lives.
