Use Time Wisely

One of the greatest mistakes anyone can make is to waste the opportunity that today presents. A wise man understands how to use time wisely. He knows that yesterday was a seed for today and today is a seed for tomorrow. As a result He prioritizes rightly to ensure that he is rightly positioned to reap the desired harvest tomorrow.

You see there are many seasons in your life. In every season there are seasonal priorities which are aligned with overall life priorities. In other words there are things you ought to focus on in a particular season which position you to fulfill your destiny. You must be sensitive to these priorities so that you can maximize every season.

Time is not meant to be your enemy. Rather if you have an understanding of the times and seasons, by the wisdom of God, then you will know what to do. If you do the right things in every season then you will be positioned to walk in the fullness of God's plans for your life. By the wisdom of God I declare that you will know what to do in every season.

Have an exceptional day!

You must respect time

Time is a precious commodity. Those who respect time accomplish goals and complete tasks when they are scheduled. These people are not prone to procrastination.

God created time. He created the earth in which we live to function according to times and seasons. Therefore you are expected to respect time. Respecting time does not mean that you become a slave to time. Rather you get things done at the right time and you show up at appointments on time.

In order to excel in life you must avoid procrastination and treat time as precious. Your respect for time will make the difference and determine how much you are able to accomplish while you are on the earth.

Take that Next Step, Your Time is Now

Faith believes and receives now. The process of devoloping faith involves meditating on God's Word to the point of revelation. At the point of revelation you own that word. You get to the point that you agree with what God's Word says about you and the situation you are facing. At this point God's Word is more real to you that the natural circumstances you are facing.

You see faith is the process through which you access God's eternal promises. In order to do this you must first access these promises in the realm of the spirit before you see them with your eyes - Heb 11:1 & 2 Co 4:18. It is then a matter of time before you receive the physical manifestation.

Friend you must stay encouraged and not be discouraged, stay hopeful and not despondent. God's promises are real. His Word has His power backing it up. He is faithful to do what He said He would do - is 55:11 & 1 Co 1:9. Make a commitment to spend time in God's Word and presence to develop faith for every area of your life. Note that faith is always accompanied by appropriate action - Jam 2:17. So take that next step consistent with your faith. The time is now.

It's time for your light to shine!

Jesus called you the light of this world, the salt of this earth; He said of the church body, "you are a city built upon a hill that cannot be hidden". If you examine the characteristic of light, salt and a city on a hill you realize that they cannot be easily covered up. Additionally light and salt change any environment that they are found in. This is what Jesus expects of you; that you will be a strong influence on your generation.

There is so much ability resident in you by virtue of your status as a child of God. These gifts and abilities were meant to be expressed for the benefit of your generation. You can limit the expression of these gifts and abilities by associating with the wrong people. You must guard that light that is inside you with diligence. Don't allow the darkness to overshadow the light in you.

The word communion used in 2 Cor 6:14 is from the Greek word koinonia which means deep friendship. While you are called to love your neighbors, you must ensure that you protect your destiny. You don't need friends or partners that will bring darkness into your life and hinder you on your path to fulfill your purpose. Make a commitment to associate rightly so that the light in you can be freely expressed.

You are Important to this Generation

In Gal 1:15 Apostle Paul was illustrating the process of God's call. He started by saying that 'when it pleased God'. This phrase is indicative of the timing of God. The Bible says that God makes all things perfect in His time. There is a divine timing of God. God released us into our generation with this time and season in mind. There is something that each of us possesses that we are meant to serve to our generation. God chose us for such a time as this.

The next phrase that Apostle Paul used is 'separated from my mother's womb'. This phrase speaks of something that was determined beforehand. Even before you were born and before you were an idea in your parents mind God had a specific purpose for you. He said this to Jeremiah - Jer 1:5. There is no need for us to manufacture our purpose. There is no need for us to live another person's life. God's purpose for our lives is sure. We must spend enough time in His presence to download the details of the purpose for which He created us.

The third phrase that Apostle Paul used was 'called through grace'. Here He acknowledged that it is by the grace of God that we are called. God's purpose for your life is not based on merit; it cannot be earned. It is by the grace of God that we can fulfill our purpose. The grace of God is not just God's unmerited favor. It is also God's willingness to make all of His power and ability available for you and I.

It is clear from this scripture in Gal 1:15 that Paul knew the call of God upon his life. He was clear about his God-given purpose and what it will take to accomplish all that God has called Him to do. I encourage you today, irrespective of what you may have been told, God had a purpose in mind for you when He released in this time and season. Spend time in God's presence seeking to understand His purpose for your life. Then factor in His grace so that you can accomplish all that He has called to to do.
